A highly sought after session drummer, Abe Laboriel, Jr. is the son of veteran bassist Abraham Laboriel, Sr. and grew up surrounded by music. He was playing drums by the age of four, and studied with several high-profile drummers, including Jeff Porcaro, Chester Thompson, Bill Maxwell, and Alex Acuña, who had formed the band Koinonia with Laboriel, Sr. in the 1980s. He also studied with Peter Donald at the Dick Grove School of Music during his junior year in high school, and in 1989 even drew a citation in Down Beat magazine.

After graduating from high school, Laboriel immediately enrolled in the Berklee College of Music, graduating from there in 1993. His first big touring gig was with guitarist Steve Vai. After a subsequent tour with Seal, Laboriel caught the eyes and ears of record producers, and was soon getting called to countless recording sessions, and he continued being an in-demand touring drummer, working on tours with k.d. lang and Sting. He also began working with Paul McCartney, and his session list grew to include Robi Draco Rosa, Crystal Lewis, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Les Paul, Ashlee Simpson, LeAnn Rimes, Mylène Farmer, Letters to Cleo, Kelly Clarkson, and many others. 

Abe has also appeared, along with Lewis, on the '90s Nickelodeon television series Roundhouse. In addition to his touring and session duties, Laboriel played in the power trio the Raging Honkies and was active in the collective known as Chocolate Genius, Inc.

I relocated to Miami in 1973 from New York. My life changed completely when I started working as a full time musician 5 nights a week. My name started to spread among musicians. There was a movement going on at that time with the music called the "Miami Sound" where a mix of Rock and Cuban music were played.  Willie Chirino hired me (8yrs).  He was one of the bands with that Miami sound, and other bands like "Miami Sound Machine", which later became International stars with Gloria Estefan. I Performed with Jose Luis Rodriguez (El Puma) 5 yrs.  Got hired to do "Sabado Gigante Int." TV show for 30 yrs.  In between was hired by KC & The Sunshine Band.  Bobby Keys, Mick Taylor, Ivan Neville, Celia Cruz, Jon Secada. At the moment I am performing in Bad Co., Foreigner, and Aerosmith Tribute Bands and other projects.

ADOLFO "FOFI" LANCHA

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in Los Angeles.
Aixa's energetic and tumultuous drumming started when she was 12 years old.
Youth and passion drove her to embark into her drumming life that opened the world up to her.
She is one of the founding members of LA band "Go Betty Go" who first entered the punk rock scene in the early 2000's.

AIXA VILAR

Albe Bonacci is a studio and performing drummer and clinician in Los Angeles. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, he studied orchestral snare drumming and multi-percussion with Douglas Wolf at the University of Utah and is a graduate of Percussion Institute of Technology (PIT) in Los Angeles and The Drummer's Collective in New York City. Albe has studied privately with Ralph Humphrey, Joey Heredia, Gregg Bissonette and countless others in New York and Los Angeles.
 
He has recorded for more than 50 independent artists, performed for television on the former ABC sitcom "Ellen", played in the stage productions of "Sisterella," "A Jew Grows In Brooklyn" and "Tap: Caution Men at Work", on live radio for Los Angeles TheatreWorks production, "The Colored Museum", and can be heard in the 20th Century Fox film, "First Daughter".
 
Albe has also recorded with such studio legends as Desmond Child, Diane Warren, Jack Segal, Jack Palance and David Graheme. Albe plays live in many different genres from jazz to original rock and pop, country to percussion accompaniment.
 
Albe has held clinics for Musician's Friend Music Stores, the Nashville Percussion Institute, 2008 and 2014 PASIC conventions, the Pacific Crest Drum Corps, Sam Ash and the Hollywood Custom and Vintage Drum show.
 
Albe has authored several articles in Modern Drummer, Edge, Drum and Percussive Notes Magazines.
 
Albe is a faculty member at Musician's Institute. He has been named faculty member of the year by his students in 2016 and 2017.

He has recorded 3 PBS specials, 9 cd's, several National Tours & performed on DANCING with the STARS with PBS guitar star BENISE. He has also worked with celebrated acoustic guitarists: Luis Villegas, Ben Woods, Jose Garcia, Incendio, Roger Espinosa, Jon Francis and other musical acts like Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy, SugarLoaf, Kimberly Locke, Perla Batalla, Emmanuele and the Harry Selvin Big Band. Dawn Richardson is an American rock drummer, teacher, and writer of instructional books on percussion. She is best known as drummer for the San Francisco-based band 4 Non Blondes from 1991 to 1994.

DAWN RICHARDSON

Born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1990, Dylan started drumming at age 6. He began performing publicly not long after, playing solo & with bands. He first appeared on New Zealand Television from age 9. At age 13, he won the 2004 New Zealand Drum Wars competition in the Adult Category.  At 15, he won the Best Musicianship Award in the Nationwide High School Band Competition - Smokefree Rockquest. In 2015 at age 24, Dylan moved to America to become a full time touring & recording member of 1967 jazz/rock n roll band, Blood, Sweat & Tears. He is still a member of the band and has played over 300 shows with the band worldwide.  Dylan released jazz/fusion album, 'ReAmped', with fellow New Zealanders, Nick Granville & Ben Shepherd in 2017. Gregg Allen is an American drummer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up in a musical family in Southern California, he started playing drums in High School at the age of 16.

Maria is originally from Camaguey, Cuba, raised in New Orleans. She began her musical career playing various night clubs in the New Orleans French Quarter. She conducts workshops, master classes, concerts and clinics at schools, International Music Conferences, Colleges and Universities. She has traveled the globe to perform at major venues where she shared both stage and studio with artists such as Barry White, El Chicano, Klymaxx, Rita Coolidge, Nell Carter, Angela Bofill and others. As the recipient of the "Outstanding Player of the Year Award" from the Percussion Institute of Technology. She joined the Musicians Institute faculty and later authored the Latin core curriculum for the Brazilian and Afro-Cuban classes. Maria's educational articles have appeared in Modern Drummer, Percussive Notes, Drum Magazines and LP Drum Instructors Only.

MARIA MARTINEZ

Mat Madiro's journey through the drumming world took a unique path. Starting as a drum tech for bands like Trivium and As I Lay Dying, he found himself thrust into the spotlight in May 2014 during a tour, substituting for Trivium's drummer, Nick Augusto. Mat's seamless transition impressed many, leading to his current role as the drummer for From Ashes to New. His versatility and adaptability within the music scene highlight his passion and skill behind the drum kit.

MATHEW MADIRO

Nisan Stewart is a musician, born and raised in Inglewood California. He has been operating professionally in the music industry as a Music Director, producer, song writer, and musician for many years. His first professional hiring as a musician was by former MCA Records A&R executive Randy Jackson, with Puff Johnson. Shortly after that Nisan connected with Grammy Award winning super producer, Timbaland. From that point he began his song-writing and producing career. He has been nominated for a Grammy, received ASCAP awards, and many others. His producing and writing credits includes artists such as Beyonce', Nelly Furtado, Missy Elliott, Janet Jackson, P. Diddy, MaryMary, Busta Rhymes, Patti LaBelle., Tweet, and many more.
 
Throughout his producing career, Nisan maintained his love for the stage and live performances. He has a love for developing the live performances from beginning to end. Nisan currently is the drummer for the hit TV show Dancing With The Stars. Some of his recent TV credits also include the the Emmys, house band for the MTV Awards, BET Awards house band, and BET Comic View's One Mic Stand featuring Kevin Hart. Nisan has been the Music Director and/or touring drummer for Jay Z, P. Diddy, Beyonce, TGT, Patti LaBelle, El DeBarge, Jessie J, NAS, Chris Brown, Jessie McCartney, Busta Rhymes, Leona Lewis, Tweet, 50 Cent, Marcus Miller, Flo-Rida, T.I., The Dream, Lady Gaga, etc. He currently is the Music Director/Drummer for Jamie Foxx, Nelly, Brandy, Tamar Braxton, and Nicole Sherzinger. He continues to push the artists' creative buttons to make their songs and performances come to life through live music.

NISAN STEWART

Started on a practice pad for two years of lessons and rudiments until I mowed enough lawns to pay for a drum set. Played in all the school bands through high school and one season of marching band in college.  Started touring the US in 1995 supporting first Armchair Martian record recorded at the Blasting Room. Went on to record many records there as the studio developed under the care of Bill Stevenson. Formed country rock band Drag the River;recording and touring for 7 years. Moved to Los Angeles from Colorado in 2005, joining the Street Dogs in 2006. Toured extensively for 6 years all over the world including Australia, Japan, the UK and most of Europe. Left the band in 2012 and formed Gods of My Olympus which would lead to Bandaid Brigade forming in 2018. Just released our second record on Xtra Mile in 2022 with a tour of Europe and UK. Many bands and roadie jobs in between all the above as well as a job working in television for NBC Universal. I love to play all types of music and will keep at it until I die. Cheers!

SCOTT PELLEGROM

Born in Los Angeles, Perkins' picked up drumsticks at the age of eight. His first public drum performance was at his Bar Mitzvah1980 in front of family and friends. His passion for playing the drums led him to purchase his first drum set bought at Valley Arts Music Center, Studio City, CA with his Bar Mitzvah gift money. 
 
In 1983, his first band "Champion" played the Troubadour in Los Angeles; his second band "Disaster" rocked the Whiskey and the Roxy in Los Angeles in 1984. By late summer 1985, Perkins joined an older singer and bass player and together they formed Jane's Addiction. Jane's Addiction released their first record "Live At The Roxy" on Triple X Records, which led to signing a seven-record deal with Warner Bros. releasing "Nothing Shocking" (1988), which was nominated for a Grammy. 
 
In 1990 "Ritual De La Habitual" was nominated for two Grammy's and Jane's Addiction went on to headline the first Lollapalooza tour that summer. Perkins joined the band "Infectious Groves" in 1991 and recorded in toured for two years. By 1993, Perkins created Porno For Pyro's and released its first self-titled album on Warner Bros. Records, which was nominated for a Grammy. He went on to release several more records with Porno For Pyro's, released an instrumental jazz-fusion record with Banyan on Higher Octave Record Label. 
 
Perkins reunited with Jane's Addiction with Flea on bass in 1997, while also releasing a second Banyan record. By 1999, he released the third Banyan record while joining Tommy Lee for the Methods of Mayhem tour. He went to tour with Methods of Mayhem and record for two years. In 2001, Jane's Addiction released "Strays" on Capital Records. For the next five Perkins was busy touring and recording and started yet another new band called "Panic Channel" - Capital Records. 
 
Perkins became a proud papa to his son and continued working with Jane's Addiction, Hellride, Tabitha, Summer Moon (w/ bass player from The Strokes), and Drop The Needle, a new lounge jazz-funk band. Watching Perkins on drums is a show within itself. His energy, charisma, unique skill and style make him one of the most sought after drummers today. 
 
He received his star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1997, and Hands at the Rock Walk Hall of fame at Guitar Center Los Angeles.

Stephen Striegel graduated from Berklee with a B.M. in Songwriting. He has worked as a professional musician in the entertainment industry for the past 22 years. I have extensive experience as a touring musician with several bands that stylistically range from Country and Blues to Metal to Prog and hip hop.

In addition, he has played with Francisco Fattoruso, Jay-Z, Joe Jonas, Joss Stone and his own band. Tony released the videos "Pure Energy" (2007), and The Evolution of Tony Royster (2009), both of which highlight his insprational spirit.
 
Some other high points of his career include playing the Glastonbury Festival and President Barack Obama's inaugural ball with Jay-Z in 2009. He has received the "Louis Armstrong Jazz Award", a prestigious award that recognizes a musician's level of musicianship, character, and individual creativity. Tony has also received a "Senior Award" for his accomplishments in the world of drumming. In 2006, Tony teamed up with Hidden Beach Recordings to produce Unwrapped Vol. 6: Give the Drummer Some!, debuting at #1 on the jazz charts.

He has also performed a solo on the Jenny Jones show for the World's Most Talented Kids and Pets taping at the age of 12.
